Environment Management
Our Group is committed to managing our environmental impact as an integral part of our operations. To support this commitment, the Group has established a Safety, Health & Environmental Committee (“SHE Committee”), which is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the environmental integrity of our operations and facilities.
We comply with the Environmental Quality Act with adherence to the following principles :
- Scheduled waste is managed by a licensed contractor in accordance with legal requirements.
- Carbon emissions and electricity usage are reduced through the adoption of LED lighting
- Industrial effluent is closely monitored, ensuring levels are below the Permissible Exposure Limit.
- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, including minimising production waste and carbon footprint.
- “Why Not” initiative encourages employees to think out of the box and propose cost-saving operational improvements, with awards as incentives.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve our environmental performance, including but not limited to energy, water, and paper conservation.
